MONROVIA, LIBERIA — Montserrado County District Seven Representative Emmanuel Dahn says his initiatives in education, healthcare and women’s empowerment are making a significant impact on residents of the district.
Speaking at the Center for the Exchange of Intellectual Opinion over the weekend, Representative Dahn highlighted the work of the Emmanuel Dahn Vocational Training Center, saying the institution has received commendation from people beyond District Seven for providing skills training opportunities to residents.
The lawmaker said some individuals have expressed appreciation for the services being provided through his initiatives, although he acknowledged that others have not been receptive to his efforts.
Representative Dahn also used the occasion to defend his political standing in District Seven, warning against what he described as attempts to undermine his leadership.
He maintained that neither individuals nor groups should underestimate his political strength or seek to weaken his influence in the district.
Dahn further warned that he would respond to any attempts to attack or intimidate him, stressing that he would not allow himself to be politically weakened.
“I won with more than 5,000 votes,” Dahn reportedly declared, pointing to his electoral victory as evidence of the mandate he received from voters in Montserrado County District Seven.
His comments come amid ongoing political tensions and public disagreements involving prominent figures in the district.
The District Seven lawmaker has in recent weeks remained active in public engagements, where he has continued to highlight his development initiatives and defend his political leadership.
