As the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran take strategic steps toward full end to the months-long conflict that affected global oil supply and energy stability, the Kingdom of Morocco called on the two nations to ensure full respect and prompt implementation of the Pakistan brokered framework deal.
In a statement, the Moroccan government said the agreement reached between the US and Iran on a Memorandum of Understanding is of particular importance for consolidating the ceasefire and ensuring the sustainable freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
In this regard, it calls for the prompt implementation and full respect of the agreement and thanks all mediators for their efforts to facilitate progress.
The Kingdom of Morocco also hopes that this agreement will contribute, in accordance with international law, to resolving other outstanding issues.
