The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has donated assorted medical supplies to the Duport Road Health Center as part of activities marking Taxpayers Appreciation Month 2026.
The donation, made under the LRA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, is aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery at the community level while recognizing the vital role taxpayers play in national development.
Presenting the items, the Authority said the gesture reflects the institution’s commitment not only to revenue generation but also to giving back to communities that contribute to the country’s growth through tax compliance.
According to the Authority, the Taxpayers Appreciation Month serves as an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate individuals and businesses whose contributions support public services, including healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Officials at the Duport Road Health Center welcomed the donation, noting that the supplies will help improve service delivery and address some of the facility’s immediate needs.
The LRA emphasized that it will continue to undertake similar initiatives across the country as part of its broader effort to build trust with taxpayers and promote a culture of voluntary compliance.
The initiative highlights the direct impact of tax contributions on community development, reinforcing the message that paying taxes plays a crucial role in improving the quality of life for all Liberians.
