The session also focused on identifying practical solutions to bottlenecks affecting the implementation of health projects and the delivery of essential services to citizens.
The engagement forms part of a series of strategic meetings initiated by the MFDP to strengthen coordination among government institutions, improve budget execution, and accelerate the implementation of national development priorities under the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
According to officials, the discussions are intended to promote greater collaboration and accountability between the two ministries while ensuring that public resources are effectively utilized to deliver tangible results.
The session provided an opportunity for officials and technical teams to review ongoing health-sector investments, assess implementation challenges, and discuss measures to address delays and other obstacles affecting project delivery.
In attendance were Minister of Finance and Development Planning Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan and Minister of Health Dr. Louise Mapleh Kpoto, along with deputy and assistant ministers from both institutions and a number of technical staff.
