Monrovia-Former Cultural Ambassador and Executive Director of Liberia Crusaders for Peace, Ambassador Juli Endee, has commended the Chairman of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), Hon. Clarence K. Massaquoi, for his leadership in the telecommunications sector and support for women-led and community-based initiatives.
Endee made the remarks during a courtesy visit to Chairman Massaquoi at the LTA headquarters, where she praised his efforts to transform Liberia’s telecommunications sector.
During the visit, Endee also presented Massaquoi with a traditional hand-woven gown in celebration of his birthday this week.
She extended her best wishes to the LTA chairman, praying for God’s continued blessings upon his life and leadership.
Receiving the gift, Massaquoi expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a “gift of the millennium.”
He also praised Endee for her decades of service to Liberia and her continued efforts to promote the country’s culture and positive image both locally and internationally.
The visit also resulted in an agreement between the LTA and Liberia Crusaders for Peace to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration.
The proposed partnership is expected to focus on raising public awareness about the LTA’s regulatory mandate and ongoing developments in Liberia’s telecommunications sector.
The collaboration could provide an opportunity for both institutions to engage communities and improve public understanding of the authority’s role in regulating the sector.
The LTA is responsible for regulating Liberia’s telecommunications sector, while Liberia Crusaders for Peace works to promote peace, cultural expression, and community engagement.
The visit highlighted the potential for cooperation between the two institutions in promoting public awareness and strengthening communication with communities across Liberia.
